"Every social gesture is potentially ambiguous" (Finkelstein pg. 84)

My first time learning about Andy Warhol in my photography class in high school but we did not go into depth about his life. Now that I know more about his life, he was truly a creative and exceptional artist. Andy was one of the factor in the visual art movement in pop art. He inspired me to take a picture of my self and to shade different parts of my body a different color so it can reminisce his Maryln Monroe art work. It is something about his art work that really makes it pop out. The reason why I choose this quote was because when a subject in front of a camera, it is difficult to tell why they positioned there self like that or the meaning of taking the picture. There will always be two or more meaning for everything.
